Cindy M. D'Addezio, of Parish Lane, Lake Katrine died Friday, September 18, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 53.
She was born in Elmira on December 17, 1955, a daughter of the late Beverly Tuman. Cindy moved to Saugerties in the late 1960's and graduated Saugerties High School.
For 35 years Cindy was a dental assistant and office manager. She worked for Dr. Ned Goldfarb D.D.S., Dr. David Nosonowitz D.D.S. and, for the past 19 years, Dr. Bruce Cohen, D.D.S.
Cindy married Alan "Zeb" D'Addezio on July 3, 1993.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 16 years, are three sons Earron Shields of Minneapolis, Minn., D.J. Shields and his wife LeighAnn of Woodstock, and Matthew Taggard of Lake Katrine; three daughters Nicole Daw and her husband Nicholas of Kingston, Heather Martin and her husband Andrew of Olive, Stephanie Berryann and her husband Kenneth Jr. of Shandaken; two sisters Lynette McClurg of Corning and Kelly McClurg of Texas; her mother in law Jean Pierce of Shandaken; 15 grandchildren Alyssa, Jacob, Austin, Alexis, Nicholas Jr., Madison, Gracelynn, Mariah, Matthew, Thomas, Bradley, Daniel, Brianna, Brett and Samantha; one great grandson Colin, many nieces and nephews.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral procession will form on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Oliverea Cemetery.
