Christopher M. Byron, 23, of Lomontville, passed unexpectedly Wednesday morning, May 20, 2015 at his home.
Chris had attended Rondout Valley Schools and had worked for the family business, Active Lawn Care of Mt. Tremper. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and stock car races. He was a life member of the NRA, a member of the Phoenicia Rod & Gun Club and the Children of the American Revolution. He was a past member of the Lomontville Fire Department.
Chris was born September 30, 1991 in Kingston. He was the son of Renee Carlson and David DuBois of Lomontville and Christopher and Regina Byron of New Paltz, the brother of Hunter and Justin Bender of Lomontville and Anthony and Ashley Peterson of New Paltz, boyfriend of Nicolette Stoliker of Lomontville, grandson of Arlene Carlson of Lomontville and Lynne and Theodore Byron of Mt. Tremper, nephew of Melissa Conniff and her husband Brendan of Hyde Park, Godson and nephew of Ted Byron and his wife Ginger of Mt. Tremper, nephew of Kenneth Carlson, Jr. and his wife Mandy of Lomontville, Godson of Jennifer Charmello of High Falls, several cousins, a nephew and his dog Harley and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Kenneth Carlson, Sr.
Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 5 - 9 pm. The service will be Wednesday at 10 am. The Rev. Dr. David M. Brechter, officiating. Burial will be in Krumville Cemetery.
