Christopher Hemmy

Christopher M. Hemmy, 46, of Port Ewen, died April 5, 2013 at his home. Born in Lynbrook, NY, he was the son of the late Paul Hemmy & Carol Gould Hemmy of Spring Hill, FL. Chris was a avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, New York Mets and Nascar. He was a loving father and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Chris is survived by his son Jessie Carey of Kingston, two brothers, Paul Hemmy of Spring Hill, FL, John Hemmy and his wife Rodette of Glens Falls, NY, a sister, Susan of Pennsylvania and two very good and loving friends, Hank L. Depew, Jr of Port Ewen and Helen Carlson of Saugerties. In addition to his father Chris was predeceased by his sister, Alice The funeral service and interment will be held privately. Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave, is in charge of arrangements.
