Christine M. Smith

Christine Smith, 33, of Dunwoodie Drive, Whittier, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at her home. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of Edward Smith of Whittier and the late Kathleen Kless Smith. She was an LPN, having graduated from Ulster Boces. She worked as a nurse at Community Rehabilitation Center, Ten Broeck Commons, Ferncliff Nursing Home and most recently at Coxsackie Correctional Facility. In addition to her father, Christine is survived by her daughter, Raegen Marie Smith of Whittier, several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brother, F. Joseph Smith who died on March 24, 1992. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Colman's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
