Chester R Lezer

Chester R Lezer, Sr., 61, of Kingston passed unexpectedly Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Health Alliance Hospital Broadway Campus, Kingston, NY. He was born August 8, 1954 in Dover, NJ, the son of the late Roland and Vera Lezer.


Chet was the life partner of Laurie Helle He was a graduate of SUNY Ulster, earning his associates degree in business administration and accounting. For over 35 years he was a Principal Social Welfare Examiner for Ulster County Department of Social Services. Additionally, he had owned Lezer Accounting Service for 38 years. Chet attended Point of Praise
Church, he enjoyed aviation, was a pilot and a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and loved his cats, Fluffy, Atti and Sheba.


In addition to his life partner Laurie, he is survived by his son, Chester R. Lezer, Jr., a sister Rolita Lezer, a brother James Lezer and a grandson Aiden Lezer.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday from 4 - 7 pm. The service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
