Cheryl was a lifelong member of the Fair Street Reformed Church where she served as an Elder on Consistory. She was a volunteer at the Church’s Fairly New Thrift Store along with many other church functions that served the local community

Ice skating weekly at the Kiwanis Ice Rink in Saugerties was included in her winter activities. Being a member of Armed Women of America, Ulster County Chapter was a year-round interest as well.
Cheryl made many friends being a part of local car shows. Her pride and joy was showing her deceased brother’s 1969 Camaro on Friday nights at the Rainbow in Port Ewen winning trophies for its original condition.
