Charles Theodore Gogolen

Charles Theodore Gogolen of DeWitt Lake Road, Town of Ulster died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 92. He was born in Saddlebrook, NJ on January 19, 1917 a son of the late William and Lena Strecker Gogolen. A longtime resident of northern New Jersey, for many years he worked as a machinest. Mr. Gogolen moved with his daughter in 2007. His wife Florence Almgren Gogolen died previously. Eight brothers and sisters died previously. Surviving are one son Thomas Gogolen of Ringwood, NJ and Judith Ferry of the Town of Ulster; five grandchildren, one great granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. The funeral was private. Cremation was in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
