Charles Mitchell

Charles “Charlie” Mitchell, of Chiz’s Heart St. on West Chestnut Street, Kingston, died Monday, July 5, 2004 at his residence. He was 60. He was born in Yonkers on March 7, 1944. He moved to this area in the 1970’s and for many years has worked at the sheltered workshop program at Gateway Community Industries, Kingston. Mr. Mitchell has lived at Chiz’s Heart Street on West Chestnut Street for 25 years. A member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, he participated at St. Simeon’s Soup Kitchen. A sister died previously. He is survived by many dear friends at Chiz’s Heart House, Kingston. Friends may visit the Holy Cross Episcopal Church on Saturday from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will then be celebrated by Fr. Frank Wallner at 1:00 PM. Interment will be Monday at Montrepose Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
