Charles K. “Kenny” Lamphere, of Village Drive died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 65.
He was born in Brooklyn on April 16, 1938, a son of the late Charles L. and Hilda May Smith Lamphere. A longtime area resident, Mr. Lamphere was a motorcycle enthusiast.
For 23 years he worked as a supervisor at Channel Master in Ellenville. He retired in 1983. Mr. Lamphere then worked as a bus monitor for the Kingston Schools Consolidated.
Surviving are one daughter Lori Ann Campbell of Kingston; one son Michael K. Lamphere of Kingston; a dear friend Herlina Ann Bailey; one grandson Michael Campbell and several cousins.
Reposing at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday by Fr. Edmund Burke at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
