Charles J. Naccarato, 95, of Saugerties, formerly of Kingston, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus.
Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late Louis & Pasquelina Sottile Naccarato. Charlie was a veteran of WWII having served with the US Army Air Corp. He was a tailor in Kingston for many years, starting with Kingston Knitting Mills and then working for himself. He was a member of the Scotch Mountain Gun Club and a former member of the St. Mary's Benevolent Society. Charlie loved life and was very family oriented.
Charlie is survived by his two sons, Charles V. Naccarato and his wife Henrietta of Highland, Kevin J. Naccarato and his wife Barbara of Saugerties, four grandchildren, Charles, Jaime, Kyle and Perri, four great grandchildren, Melody Rae, Victoria, Andruw and Jonah. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Rose Perry Naccarato, who passed in 2005, two brothers, Michael Naccarato and James Naccarato, two sisters, Christina Caterino and Theresa Lange.
Charlie will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 3-7 PM.
The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:00 AM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church.
Interment, with military honors by Joyce-Schirick Post 1386 Color Guard, will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
