Charles “Chuck” Haight, 75, of Connelly, NY, passed on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine, after brief illness.
He was born on March 18, 1947 in Poughkeepsie, New York and was the son of the late Fred and Marjorie Haight, Sr.
Chuck was still working at Hannaford in the Town of Ulster where he had been employed for over 18 years in the produce department
Chuck was a 30 year plus member of Kingston Baseball Umpire Association, (KBUA) One of his greatest loves was being a baseball umpire. Some of his favorite pastimes was watching Cowboy & Western movies and watching the Yankees.
Chuck was the loving partner of Bonnie Wells, additionally he is survived by his son Scott Haight, daughters Jamilyn Haight, Karen Richter and Corina McClinton brother Wilbur Haight, sister Marjorie E Haight, grandchildren Denzel McClinton and Marcello Richter, his brother and sister-in-law Gary and Marietta Wells. He was his predeceased by brothers Kenneth and Fred Haight Jr and a sister Mildred Spiegel
Arrangements entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. The service will be at 7:30 pm, Rev. Dr. David Brechter, officiating.
