Charles C. Gaston

Charles Cushman Gaston, 85, of Ulster Park, NY, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born July 13, 1926 in Ulster Park, NY and apart from a stint in the U.S. Navy during WWII, he lived his entire life on Union Center Road.

He worked for IBM for 39 years between Kingston and Poughkeepsie and although he served the company faithfully his true pleasure was his family and his projects at home.

He is predeceased by his wife, Rachel M. Gaston, to whom he was married for 58 years. He is survived by his children, Douglas Gaston and his wife Sally, John Gaston and Susan Miller, his grandchildren Heather and Allison Gaston, Jillayne Mannello, and Rebecca and James Miller. He also leaves his dear friend and companion Lois Brown.
