Cathleen M. DeCicco

Cathleen M. Cathie DeCicco, age 46, of Ulster Ave, Lake Katrine died Monday, May 12, 2008 at Golden Hill Health Care Center, Kingston after lengthy illness.

Ms. DeCicco was born January 11, 1962 at Kingston, NY the daughter of the late Linda Blood Plumstead and was the granddaughter of the late Charles F. & Anna "Mel" Blood who raised her as a child.

She was a breast cancer survivor who battled cancer for over nine years; she fought a long and strenuous battle against her illness. Prior to her illness she was certified as an EMT, had worked for US Homecare and several doctors office. She loved to play softball, played in the Kingston City Leagues and Town of Ulster Leagues, horseback riding and riding her Harley Davidson Motorcycle. She loved cats.

She is survived by one son Vincent J. DeCicco, Jr. of Lake Katrine, NY, a sister Jody L. Servo of Lake Katrine, NY and her Step Father, John Plumstead of Kingston, NY

The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 am at Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Burial will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery
