Catherine M. Soules

Saugerties - Catherine M. Soules, formerly of The Birches, Saugerties and South Grand St., Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Mountain Valley Manor in Kingston. She was 91. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Addee and Daisey Magee Boyce. Mrs. Soules was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1942 and then graduated from the Wilford Academy in New York City. She moved to Poughkeepsie and worked in the beauty shop of Wallace's for many years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Emanuel Wiltwyck Chapter 155. Her husband, Howard Soules died June 2, 2005. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Bovee of Kingston and three step-daughters, Yvonne Seaman and her husband James of Poughkeepsie; Linda Fusiak of Middletown and Marlene Robinson of Poughkeepsie; two grandsons, Richard Bovee and his family and Brian Bovee and his family. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Cremation was private. Inurnment will take place in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
