Catherine Elizabeth MacGregor

Catherine Elizabeth Kelley MacGregor passed away peacefully on Mother's Day, May 11, 2014. A long-time resident of Kingston, NY, she was born on June 26, 1922, in Manhattan, NY. She was preceded in death by her beloved Mother Catherine Cahill MacGregor and Father, Aloysius Kelley.

Catherine is survived by her best friend, companion, and faithful husband, Donal I. MacGregor, Sr. to whom she was married for 67 years. She is also survived by her sons Brian of Rhinebeck N.Y., and Donal, Jr. of Frisco, TX. A 1940 graduate of Newburgh High School, she served her country during WWII as a civilian employee on Iona Island. She continued her career as an Executive Secretary working for various companies throughout Westchester County, retiring after a long career from General Foods in White Plains, NY.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston, NY. Services will be private at Kenisco Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to, Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation, Memorial Gift Program, 400 Aaron Court, Kingston, NY 12401.
