Catherine Barney

Catherine Louise Barney, 46, of Kingston, NY, formerly of Light House Point, FL, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at home. She was born July 7, 1971 in Westwood, NJ to Jim Messing and Claire (Feliciano) Messing. Catherine was a graduate of Deerfield High School, Class of 1989. She later received her Bachelor's Degree in Acting and Directing from SUNY New Paltz. She was a member of Alpha Psi Omega and was a Yoga Instructor. She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Barney of Kingston, her son, Griffin. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Saturday October 7 from 1pm to 4pm.
