Carol Stoutenburg of Stephan St., Kingston died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie. She was 61. A native and lifelong Kingston resident, she was born January 15, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Finch Stoutenburg. For over 20 years Carol worked in the garment industry at Kingston Knitting Mills. She then worked in the housekeeping department at Kingston Hospital. One sister Barbara Jean Kilmer died May 31, 2001. Surviving are three brothers Wilson Stoutenburg and his wife Mary Lou of Town of Ulster, Gene Stoutenburg of Kingston, and Sidney Davis of Costa Rica; one sister Rosemary North of Kingston; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 11:30 AM. Deacon Jack Peters will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Marion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016.
