Carol M. (Woodcock) Crapser, 67, of Esopus, NY, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, in Hampden, Maine.


She was born February 25, 1944 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Burton W. and Eleanor A. (Rathburn) Woodcock.




She was married to Roger W. Crapser, they wed on June 20th 1964 in Governeur, NY.




She attended SUNY Plattsburgh then SUNY New Paltz, where she received a Bachelor's Degree.


She was a teacher for Ulster County BOCES, Ellenville, NY.


Carol was a very active member of Town of Esopus United Methodist Church, Port Ewen, NY


She was also 4-H leader in Ulster County, for 18 years.




In addition to her husband she is survived by; daughters; Cindy and her husband Anthony Tacti, their son's Anthony Jr., & Michael of Kerhonkson, NY, Karen and her husband Larry Barrett, and their children Marie & John of Hampden, ME, and Dawn and her husband Mark Ross of Deleplane, VA.,


her brother; Dale Woodcock of FL, sisters; Christine Woodcock of NY and Connie Fountain of NY.




She was predeceased by her sister Cynthia Woodcock.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen. Friends may call on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home. Services will be held this Saturday at 11:00 AM at Town of Esopus United Methodist Church, Rev. Dora Oderanko, officiating.




Burial to follow at Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.




The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society,
