Carol J. Vandervliet

Carol Jean Vandervliet, 74, of Saugerties, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at HealthAlliance Hospital. Born in Freeburg, IL, she was the daughter of the late Ernst & Mary Morton Burgard. Carol enjoyed reading, playing cards with friends and spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Schulz of Las Vegas, NV, Tammy Fankhauser and her husband Ernie of Hurley, and Lanette Beatty and her husband Barry of Kingston, two sisters, Kay Koshinski of Decatur, IL and Beverly Feist of Freeburg, IL. 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. A private graveside service was held at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
