Carol H. Downer

Carol H. Downer of Fair St., died Monday, March 17, 2014 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. She was 101. She was born in Flushing, NY, the daughter of the late David and Francica Neander Hallstrom. Mrs. Downer was the office manager for her late husband, Dr. Mortimer Downer's medical practice. Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston. Cremation was private. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:30 PM in Wiltwyck Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kingston Library, 55 Franklin St., Kingston, NY 12401.
