Carol M. Frangello, 75, of Bloomington, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in Saugerties, she was a daughter of the late Joseph & Elsie Legg Eschmann. Carol enjoyed gardening, tending to her 22 feral cats, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her two children, Sheila M. Terpening and her husband Wayne of Kingston and Joseph E. Frangello of Bloomington, a sister, Shirley Magee of South Carolina, four grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Zachary and Shelbi, two great grandchildren, Sophia and Ashtean and many nieces and nephews. Her loving companion of 18 years, Juan Mercado, Jr. also survives. In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Frangello, who passed in 1993. Carol will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 noon, with Fr. Robert Bubel of St. Mary's and St. Peter's, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Rd, Kingston, NY 12401.
