Carol F. Kenneda

Carol (Fay) Kenneda, 82, of Elizaville, NY, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at home. She was born November 21, 1929 in Lockport, NY to the late Earl D. and Florence (Wilkie) Fay.

She was married to George R. Kenneda on August 19th, 1950. They were happily married for 45 years until George passed away on December 7th, 1995.

Carol was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Kingston. She enjoyed many forms of artistic expression, including painting, sewing,cake decorating, and stained glass. She loved traveling the country with her husband in their RV, riding her motorcycle and most of all spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her children: Deborah Kenneda and her husband Vincent Dempsey of St. Pete Beach, FL; Andrew Kenneda and his wife Gail of Montour Falls, NY; Marci Kenneda and her husband Ricardo Fernandez of Jersey City, NJ; Wendy Hempel and her husband Brian of Tivoli, NY; her grandchildren: Jessica, Jonathan, Matthew, Tiffany, Miranda, Rebecca, Abigail, Esther, Charlene and Timothy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401 where friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7pm. The funeral service will take place Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hurley Cemetery.
