Carmen A. Woinoski

Lake Katrine - Carmen A. Rosa Woinoski of Parish Lane died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Kingston Hospital. She was 77. She was born January 10, 1932 in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late Jesus and Anna martinez Angueira. Her first husband, Francis Walter Rosa died in 1970 and her second husband, Casimir P. Woinoski died in 1989. Surviving are her daughter, Jo-Ann rosa of Palm Desert, CA; two sons, James A. Clark-Rosa of Ocala, FL and Earlin F. Rosa and his wife Annie of Lake Katrine; three sisters, Mary Blakeney of Mississippi, Angie Holt of Ohio, Nora Sosa of New York and a brother, Alfred Angueira of New York. Three grandchildren, James A. Rosa Jr., Benjamin John Rosa and Christian Joseph Rosa, a great-grandson, Alexander Rosa and many nieces and nephews also survive. Two sisters, her twin, Eva Hernandez, Nancy Huertas and two brothers, Edward and Ignatius Angueira died previously. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 AM and process to St. Mary's Church for a 10:00 AM funeral Mass. Cremation will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
