Carmela "Millie" Martino

Carmela "Millie" Martino, 91, of Kingston, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Archcare at Ferncliff in Rhinebeck. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe & Adelaide Russo DelGaudio. Carmela loved her family, had a wonderful work ethic and enjoyed cooking. Carmela was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, where she sang in the choir. Carmela is survived by her three children, Anthony F. Martino and his wife Gerit of Kingston, Janice A. Rossi and her husband Nicholas of Essex, MD, Joseph F. Martino and his partner Kathryn Beesmer of MT. Marion, nine grandchildren, Jeffrey, Anthony, Theodor, Garrick, Regina, Joseph, Gretchen, Danny, Jenny. Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Carmela was predeceased by her husband, Fedele Martino who passed in 1972. A graveside service at St. Mary's Cemetery will be held privately. Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
