Carlos Charlie Lopez

Carlos "Charlie" Lopez of Flatbush Road, Town of Ulster died Friday, January 4, 2008 at his home. He was 82. Charlie was born in New York City on September 9, 1925, a son of the late Rosalino and Concetta Pinon Lopez. His parents both immigrated from Spain. Formerly of Wassaic and Plattekill, Charlie has lived in this area. He has lived at Palmer House for 8 years. He previously worked at Ulster - Greene ARC's Pilot workshop in Kingston. Charlie is survived by his sisters Virginia Jarosz of East Elmhurst and Theresa Samowitz of Lake Ronkonkoma; one brother Richard Lopez from Las Vegas, NV, and many dear friends at Ulster - Greene ARC. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. Deacon Jack Peters will officiate. Interment will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
