Bruce L. Wally

Bruce L. Wally, 85, of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late Michael & Bertha Suskind Wally. Bruce was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a graduate of Syracuse University and worked for IBM in Poughkeepsie for 30 years. He also owned and operated with his wife, the Clockman Gallery in Poughkeepsie. He enjoyed sailing and was a member of Congregation Emanuel, Kingston. Bruce is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Forst Wally of Poughkeepsie, whom he married on April 3, 1955, a son, Mark Wally of The Villages, FL, a daughter, Jill Tryon and her husband Terry of Tuckerton, NJ. Four grandchildren, Jason Wally, Ross Wally, Kyle Tryon and Aubrey Tryon also survive. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave at 10:30 AM, with Rabbi Yael Romer from Congregation Emanuel, officiating. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery. The family will sit shiva on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at their home. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Congregation Emanuel, 243 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401
