Brian Robert Batchelor

Brian Robert Batchelor of Kings Highway, Mt. Marion died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his home. He was 42. He was born in Poughkeepsie, a son of Brian Bradley and Rose Palmatier Batchelor. Formerly of Highland, he worked at the family business "Bachelor's Bicycle Shop", Highland. Brian married Linda Linnartz on November 3, 2001. A Mt. Marion resident, he worked in construction and landscaping. An avid fisher, hunter and reader, Brian was a tropical fish enthusiast. Surviving in addition to his parents of Highland and wife of Mt. Marion are his daughter Mary Catherine "Molly" Batchelor at home, one brother Barry Batchelor of Kansas, one sister Roseann Batchelor of Kingston, one nephew Eddie Acker, two nieces Daniella Seymour and Jada Acker; many other nieces, nephews and friends who loved him. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday morning from 10:00 - 12:00. A service of remembrance will be celebrated at noon. Cremation will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
