Brian Findholt

Brian Findholt, 77, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Health Alliance Hospital - Mary's Ave Campus in Kingston, NY. He was born on October 25, 1947 in Carmel, NY and was the son of the late Lloyd Findholt and Marian Seymour.

Brian graduated from Kingston High School and attended Rutgers School of Law. He was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa Society and on the 20th day of February 1973, he became a member of the NYS Bar Association. He had an amazing career! He was law clerk to Hon John Larkin and later to the Hon J Michael Bruhn, He had his own law practice where he placed many local people in their new homes! He was a teacher to young attorneys where he taught them to be calm and prepared. For 30 years, Brian was the Corporate Attorney for the Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union.

Brian loved watching and feeding birds and enjoyed our many trips to Maine and Vermont. My nephew said, "Brian new more about sports half asleep than most people wide awake!" Brian was a kind and smart man and it was my privilege to be apart of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Findholt and his brother, Scott Findholt and his wife, Nancy. He is also survived by his nephew, David Knapp. Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Marian and his father, Lloyd Findholt.
