Brenda Paulucci of Harding Ave., Kingston died unexpectedly on Friday, January 18, 2008. She was 51.
She was born in Kingston on October 10, 1956, a daughter of Carol Van Etten Dederick and the late Bernard Dederick. Brenda was a Class of '75 graduate of Saugerties High School. On July 14, 1980 she married Sam J. Paullucci at the St. Joseph's Church, Kingston.
For 18 years she was a supervisor of behavior rooms for Ulster - Greene ARC. For the past 6 years she was the pediatric department manager of Family Practice, Kingston.
A parishioner of St. Catherine Laboure Church, she sang in the choir and taught in the religious education program. Brenda was a former parishioner of St. Joseph's Church.
Surviving are her husband Sam J. Paulucci; her daughter Kayla Paulucci of Kingston; her mother Carol Dederick of Meridian, Idaho; one brother Bernie Dederick Jr. of Saugerties; two sisters Bonnie Barr and Daisy Ford, both of Meridian Idaho; her mother in law Ethel Paulucci of Kingston, two aunts Betty Jorgensen of Saugerties and Ruth Andersen of Apopka, Florida; three nieces Ariel, Mariah, Rebecca; two nephews Anthony and Michael; and many cousins.
Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form on Monday at 9:15 AM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Kingston at 10:00 AM. Fr. John Kearny will celebrate. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
