Kingston - Brenda H. Waldemar of Kingston and Atlanta, GA died Friday, May 27, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. She was 73. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Chester Grant and Gertrude Brown Fitzgerald. She retired following 30 years of service as a dispatcher for CSX Railway in Albany. Brenda was an active volunteer for many community service organizations in the area and enjoyed photography, bingo and tag sales. She was the family's Facebook philosopher. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Waldemar of Atlanta, GA; a grandson, Cedric Sammons; a great-grandson Camdyn Sammons; a sister, Cheryle Robinson and a brother, Daniel Fitzgerald. Four sisters, Madeline Griffith, Dolores Snyder, Dorothy Green, Elizabeth Fitzgerald and four brothers, Donald, James, Eugene and Herbert Fitzgerald died previously.
