Bonita Joyce Powell

Bonita Powell, 69, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home in Kingston. She was born July 25, 1951 in Hudson, NY, daughter of the late Arthur Whiteside and Dorothy Peebles.

She adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loved all of her family. She enjoyed going to the casino and family gatherings. She was a loving, generous spirit. Bonita enjoyed her students and co-workers at Wraparound Services of Ulster County.

Bonita is survived by her children, Yolanda Williams of Flint, MI, John Lowe, III of Kingston, Arthur Powell of Flint, MI; her brother Anthony Whiteside of Flint, MI, seven grandchildren, Tyree Powell, Queosha Jones, Johntasia Young, John Lowe, IV, Joseph Elliot, Dynasti Powell, Makari Powell; 5 great grandchildren, Tykeem Powell, Tyree Powell, Jr., Ameirah Rodriguez, Myka Johnson and Truth Young.
