Blanche L. Ellsworth, 94, of Kingston, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016. She was born May 26, 1921 in Woodstock, NY to the late Frederick and Blanche (Barnes) Baldinger. She was married to Leonard J. Ellsworth who passed away May 5, 1987.
She was a graduate of Fleischmanns High School, class of 1941. Blanche worked for Kingston Coal and Oil and later for Rondout National Bank for 18 years and Fleet Bank. She was a member of the Fair St. Reformed Church where she was involved in the Women's Guild and Supper Club. She was a member of Parents without Partners where she served as Vice President and Treasurer, 7 Greens Senior Club where she served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President, and Order of the Eastern Star.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Sonia (Ronald) Natoli of Kingston, grandchildren, Kim Cruise of Kingston, Deneen Boughton of Kingston, Pamela and Valerie Natoli of Kingston, seven great grandchildren, Kerry, Jesse, Meagan, Jacklyn, Stephen, Abigail, and Jeremy, three great great grandchildren, Wesley, Emery, and Gabriella, her brother, Frederick A. Baldinger of Pompton Plains, NJ, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her siblings, Marjorie Ochs and Marie E. DeSantis.
Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Monday May 9th from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Fair Street Reformed Church, 209 Fair Street, Kingston, NY 12401, The Kingston Library, c/o Friends of the Kingston Library, 55 Franklin St., Kingston, NY 12401.
