Beverly R. Beckman, 89, of Accord, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at HealhAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus.
Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Max & Julia Pruzan. Beverly was president of Tiffeau and Busch, a fashion design firm, noted for first using music on the fashion runway. Later, she worked in an executive role for Diane von Furstenberg and as a buyer for Bloomingdales and Lord & Taylor.
Beverly is survived by her son, Stephen Busch and his wife Barbara Kerner of Accord, two grandchildren, Silas and Nora and her sister-in-law, Rita Pruzan. Three nephews and two nieces also survive.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Jerome Beckman, who passed in 2012.
A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Temple Israel Cemetery in Hastings on Hudson, with Cantor Robert Cohen from Congregation Emanuel, officiating.
The family will sit shiva at their home, on Monday, March 14th through Wednesday, March 16th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
