Beverlee Mulligan

Beverlee A. Mulligan, 100, of Delray Beach, Fl., formerly of Rosendale and Kingston, passed peacefully on Monday February 10, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born on December 28, 1924 in Sidney, Montana, daughter of Joseph and Ann (Schweich) Schmitz and graduated from Teton County High School in Choteau, Montana, Class of 1942. She later married her loving husband of 68 years, Arthur F. Mulligan, on October 14, 1947 in Great Falls, Montana. 

She worked with her husband Art in the family business as Vice President and then President of Arthur F. Mulligan, Inc. and Arrow Bus Line, Inc. for 49 years, retiring in 1996. Before moving to FL, Beverlee was a member of St. Peter's RC Church, Rosendale, NY and St. Joseph's RC Church in Kingston, NY. She was the past President of the Women's Club of Rosendale and was a founding member of the Rosendale Library Board of Trustees, the Board of Benedictine Health Foundation, member of Zonta International and Twaalfskill Golf Club. After moving to FL, Beverlee was a parishioner at Ascension RC Church of Boca Raton, FL and a member of the Delray Beach Ladies Golf League, reluctantly giving up the sport she loved at age 91.

Beverlee is survived by her children, Gary Mulligan and wife Sally (Goffredi) of Kingston, NY, Pamela of Delray Beach, FL, and Barbara Focht and her husband Gil of Jacksonville, FL, sister Jacqueline Flint of Chico, CA, her grandchildren, Colette Dispinseri, Kristina TenEyck, Mark TenEyck, and Stephen Salvino Jr., 6 great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Frances Mulligan, as well as many beloved nieces & nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Hunt, Bettye Klaue, Patricia Hruska of Great Falls, MT; Pauline Stagier of Overland Park KS, Mary Kae Tufteland of Salt Spring Island, BC and brother, Joseph C. Schmitz of Oakland, CA.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Wednesday February 19, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 242 Wall St., Kingston, NY 12401 on Thursday February 20, 2025 at 11am. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coeymans, NY, will be held on Friday February 21, 2025 at 11am. The family suggests memorial donations be made to: American Macular Degeneration Foundation, St. Peter’s Church, Rosendale NY or St Joseph’s Church, Kington NY.
