Bertha Barnovitz Barnett of 1925 Turner Street, Allentown, PA, formerly of Port Charlotte, Florida and Kingston, New York died Friday, November 19, 2004 at Phoebe Home, Allentown, PA. She was 90.
Born April 16, 1914 in Kingston, New York she was the daughter of the late Morris and Libby Kuntz Barnovitz.
She and her husband owned and operated the former Albert Barnett Antique’s from 1966 to 1978. Prior to that she, along with her husband and sons, owned and operated the former Bernal Sales Co., Inc. in Kingston, New York.
Her husband of 50 years, Albert Barnett died in 1985. One son Lee Barnett died in 2003.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Forks Township, PA, six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 on Monday at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. Funeral services will then be conducted at 12:00; Rabbi Yael Romer will officiate.
Burial in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
