Bernice Siegel, 89, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, Woodstock, NY and Lauderhill, FL, died Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Issac & Rebecca Gootnick Milgram. Bernice earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Brooklyn College. She was a reading specialist for the NYC school system for 30 years. She is survived by her daughters, Joy Gross and her husband Bruce of Woodstock, NY, Gail Pazan and her husband Arthur of Glen Rock, NJ, three grandchildren, Carly Jezik and her husband Andrew, Rebecca Lindsey and William Lindsey. Two nieces and two nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Jerome Siegel, and a brother, Nathan Milgram.
A graveside service will be held at Montrepose Cemetery on Tuesday Oct. 20, 2015 at 11 am with Rabbi Yael Romer of Congregation Emanuel, officiating.

Shiva will be observed at the Gross residence on Tuesday and Wednesday.
