Bernice Finch

Bernice Finch, 94, of Lake Katrine, formerly of Wiltwyck Gardens, died peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. Bernice was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Przybylski Buboltz. Bernice was married to the late Clarence H. Finch who died in 2009 and she was employed as a seamstress at the Kingston Knitting Mills until 1958 when she started her family. She attended St. Catherine Laboure Church until her health would not allow her any more. Bernice enjoyed camping, but most of all loved being around family and friends. Bernice is survived by her daughter, Diane Cunningham and her husband, Jerry of Fair Lawn, NJ, five grandchildren, Tracy Bailey, Trina Ross, Crystal Finch, Kristen and Kelly Cunningham, five great grandchildren, Dennis Ross, Corine Ross Pope, Mason and Trevor Bailey and Jacob Landando, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Clarence, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Finch, her brothers, Joseph and Leo Buboltz, and her sister, Madaline DeGraff. The Family will receive friends at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home 411 Albany Ave. on Saturday August 18, 2018 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. A memorial service for Bernice will be held at 2:00pm. The family request that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
