Beatrice M. Turck

Beatrice "Bebe" M. Turck, 58, a retired teacher from Kingston High School, passed away on February 28, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Turck, her father David Zebree, and her sister Joyce Kearns. Her mother Beatrice Zebree predeceased her.

For many years Bebe and Dan had a keen interest in the environment. Out of this interest they created an extensive garden with a variety of grasses, flowers, fruit trees, and bee hives. Adding to the beauty of their backyard are the ponds filled with various fish species, including butterfly koi. Their gardening skills were rewarded by their acceptance into the Garden Conservancys Open Days Program. The Garden Conservancy is a national non-profit organization founded in 1989 to preserve exceptional American gardens for the publics enjoyment and education.

During the past twenty years they operated a pet shop and developed a unique ability to hand-raise exotic birds.

Bebe will be missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Tuesday March 4th at St. Johns RC Church,
12 Holly Hills Dr., Woodstock, NY.

Interment will be private.
