Barry Tobias Lee

Barry Tobias "Toby" Lee, 39, of Kingston, passed early Friday morning, December 2nd, 2016, surrounded by his loving family and best friend, after a heroic battle with cancer, at the Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, Kingston.

Toby was very proud of his service to our country, serving in the US Navy for 8 years from 1998 to 2006, aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard. His primary duties being aircraft rescue and firefighting.

For the past six years, Toby was employed by the Devereux Foundation as a residence manager.

He was the loving husband of Sarah (Godfrey) Lee and the devoted father of Elleana M. Lee. One of his greatest enjoyments was fishing with his best friend Dan Hess of Saint Regis Falls NY. He was a big NY Yankee and Giants fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends in the circle.

Toby was born on Aug 17, 1977 in Kingston, NY, the son of the late Robin D. Hull and Barry A. Lee.

Additionally, he is survived by his siblings Alexis Hull of Albany NY, Brittany Hull of Troy NY, Cari Hull of Schenectady NY, and Buddy Hull of Schenectady NY, uncle and aunt Jeffrey and Wendy Coles of Town of Ulster, cousins Travis Coles of Florida, Kayla and Brad Gibson of Saugerties NY. His grandparents Robert and Victoria Hull died previously.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. A Celebration of Toby's life will be on Monday at 8 pm. The family will receive their friends from 4 - 8 pm.

The family suggests contribution to the Elleana Lee Scholarship fund.

Inurnment on Tuesday, 10:30 am, Ulster County Veterans Cemetery at New Paltz Rural Cemetery, with military honors by Joyce Schirick Post VFW.
