Barbara Virginia Krauser

Barbara Virginia Krauser, 83, of Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, passed peacefully Sunday morning, May 19, 2013 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was born March 30, 1930 in Kingston, to the late James H. and Elsie Otto Krauser, Sr..




She was a graduate of Kingston High School and had worked for Huck Manufacturing for 41 years, retiring in 1992.




Barbara was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, a member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, very active in the Bible study groups and church activities




Barbara is survived by her brother Edward W. Krauser of North Carolina, a cousin Joan Amarello of Idaho and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Brown and Muriel Schneider, her brother James H. Krauser, Jr., and his wife Ruth.




The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Golden Hill for the wonderful and compassionate care.




Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, the family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm.




The service will be at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery.




The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Women's Guild, 72 Spring Street, Kingston, NY 12401
