Barbara J. Banks

Kingston - Barbara Jean Williams Banks of Tongore Way died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. She was 73 years old and born in Poughkeepsie, a daughter of the late George and Eleanor Anthony Tuthill. Barbara was a home health care aide for most of her life. Surviving are husband Horatio Banks, her sister Joanne Tuthill, three sons, Mark Williams and his wife Andrea; John Williams and Kyle Banks, all of Kingston; her daughter-in-law Alesia Taylor-Williams; her aunt, Pearl Anthony; and her long time friend Flo Burland. Also surviving are her grandchildren Arianna, Kenneth A. Jr., Kyle Jr., Kendra, Brittany, Monique, Renee, Edward and Demetrius as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her first husband Edward Williams Sr. and two sons, Kenneth A. Williams Sr. and Edward Williams Jr.. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 9th, at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in New Paltz on route 32.
