Audrea M. Hasse

Audrea Eckert Bailey Hasse, 92, of Sawkill, passed peacefully Thursday morning at her residence.

She was born January 8th, 1925 in Bronx, NY and was the daughter of the late Julius and Frieda Eckert.

Audrea had lived in Sawkill since 1963, prior to that she had lived in Rifton.

She was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club, the Sawkill Senior Citizens Club. Her many hobbies were making jewelry, doing cross word puzzles, reading, ceramics, feeding the birds and using her computer.

She worked for IBM for 29 years, prior to that she had worked at Hercules Powder Company.

She is survived by her son Gregory Bailey and his wife Anne of West Hurley, step daughter Linda Weaver and her husband Henry of PA, step sons LeRoy Hasse and his wife Donna of PA, and Robert Hasse and his wife Pam of PA, her grandchildren Kristin, Melissa, Travis, Brandon and Brooke and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Le Roy Hasse, he passed on July 6, 2004, and two brothers Edward and Walter Eckert

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 10 - 12 pm.

A Celebration of Audrea's Life will Tuesday at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
