Arthur E. Cross

Arthur E. Cross, Jr., 50, of Schultz Lane, Esopus, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at Benedictine Hospital, after a five month battle with cancer.




Artie was a graduate of Kingston High School, class of 1979.
He had worked at Boice Gage in Hyde Park, Thomas Feeney Enterprises as a welder, Town of Esopus Highway Department and Callahan Industries.



Artie loved to hunt, fish, four wheeling, motor cycle riding, run heavy equipment and most outdoor activities.
He will always be remembered for his willingness to help and give of his time to his friends and others.




He was born October 23, 1960 in Kingston, the son of Arthur E. Cross and the late Frances (Gaddis) Cross. In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters Emily and Catherine Cross, his brothers Steven Cross and his wife JoAnn, and Brian Cross and his wife Kim. Two niece's Stevee Lyn and Heather, two nephews Brian and Benjamin Cross. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.





Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2- 4 & 7 - 9. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
