Arikka M Pavlov

Rosendale - Arikka M. Woldsen Pavlov of Whiteport Rd. died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 17, 2016. She was 72. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ a daughter of the late Viggo and Daisy Marie Brems Woldsen. Mrs. Pavlov was an accomplished artist who documented her world travels through her paintings and prose. She shared her enthusiasm for the arts as an English teacher in the Kingston School District. She was a member of numerous art organizations including the Ulster Arts Alliance and Byrdcliffe in Woodstock. Her husband Michael V.Pavlov died February 1, 2013. Surviving are her son, Joseph Pavlov and his wife Christine of Port Ewen; three daughters, Hillarie Daly and her husband Brian of Oakland, NJ, Karina Pavlov of Rosendale, Kristina Pavlov-Leiching and her husband Timothy of Rosendale and a sister Lynda Woldsen-Pursell of Florida. Also surviving are her adored grandchildren, Ashley and Jimmy Pavlov, Madeline, Isabelle and Anne -Marie Daly, Christian Pavlov and Timothy, Joseph and Peter Leiching and her niece, Rachel Walsh. Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave. where friends will be received on Thursday from 3 - 7 PM. Cremation will be private.
