Antonietta Secreto of East Chester Street By-Pass, Kingston died Monday, November 14, 2005 at Kingston Hospital. She was 95.
She was born in Glasco on October 23, 1910, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emelia Pace Amendola.
Mrs. Secreto was a talented seamstress who worked as a floor lady at Mar-Kay Textiles until her retirement at age 70.
Mrs. Secreto was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and an active member of the Town of Ulster Seniors Club for many years.
Her husband Richard Secreto died November 4, 1978. Two brothers, John and James Amendola both died previously.
Surviving are her daughter Lorraine Ferraro and her husband Jack of Kingston; one brother Patsy Amendola of Kingston; two grandsons Steve Ferraro and his wife Linda, David Ferraro and his wife Gloria; four great grandchildren Julie, Kimberly, John and Gabrielle Ferraro; many nieces and nephews.
Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas will conduct a ritual at 11:00 AM. The funeral will then process to St. Joseph's Church, Kingston for a 12:00 Funeral Mass. Fr. Frank Damis will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
