Antonette McNerlin, 90, of Kingston, formerly of Glasco, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Glasco, she was a daughter of the late Fortunato & Filomena Morrone Serravallo. Antonette was a devout Catholic. She worked at IBM from 1954 until she retired in 1988, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was also a member of the VFW Joyce-Schirick Post 1386, Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed swimming and line dancing with her husband.
Antonette is survived two stepsons, Armen McNerlin and Jim McNerlin, a brother, Frank Serravallo and his wife Vivian of Saugerties. Two step grandchildren, Brandon McNerlin, Shawn McNerlin and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Antonette was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, James McNerlin whom she married on May 26, 1974 and who passed in 2003, three sisters, Mary Misasi, Josephine Luciano, Angelina Serravallo and one brother, Santo Serravallo.
Antonette will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Friday at 9:00 AM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Church.
Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery.
