Anthony "Tony" V Santonja

Anthony 'Tony" V. Santonja, 88, of Town of Ulster, formerly of Shokan, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Tony was the husband of Theresa Santonja, with whom they would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year.

He was an accomplished artist and worked with charcoal, oil and water colors. He enjoyed photography, loved traveling, especially back to his hometown in Spain, he was a musician and played the bugle, was an accomplished ball room dancer and had been a captain of an Irish football team

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Stephen (Serena) Santonja and their children Stephen and Shannon, Vincent (Beth) Santonja and their children Vincent (Erin) and Joshua (Lauren), his great granddaughter, Reagan, his sister, Ann Santonja, and many family members in Alcoy, Spain.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY where the family will receive their friends on Tuesday August 10, 2021 from 12pm to 2pm. The service will be at 2 pm. Burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery, Phoenicia. For those who wish, contributions in Tony's memory may be made to the Ulster County SPCA at www.UCSPCA.org .
