Anthony T. Pagliaro, 92, of Kingston, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his home.
Born in Capaldo, KS, he was a son of the late Rosario & Josephine Merenda Pagliaro. Tony served in the US Army during WWII, having been stationed Okinawa. He was the owner and operator of Crown Street Shoe Repair from 1948-1988. He was a life member of the High Woods Gun Club and the Joyce Schirick Post 1386. Tony was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, golf and coaching little league baseball. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time at his camp in the mountains and the winter months at his home in Florida.
Tony is survived by his four children, JoAnn Trybulski and her husband Edmund of Doral, FL, Anthony Pagliaro and his wife Valerie of Kingston, Ross Pagliaro of Kingston, Michael Pagliaro and his wife Danielle of Kingston, a sister, Mary Theresa Altomari of Kingston, two grandchildren, Anthony R. Pagliaro, Jr and Sarah Trybulski. One greatgrandchild and many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by his wife Fannie Theresa Pagliaro, who died in 1982, two sisters, Angelina DeCicco and Gloria Casciaro.
Tony will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 4-8 PM. The Joyce Schirick VFW Post 1386, will conduct their service at 7:00 PM.
The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 AM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church.
Interment will be held privately at St. Mary's Cemetery.
