Anthony Hood

Anthony Hood passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023, at the age of 93, with his daughters by his side. Anthony was born and raised in Norfolk county, England, then traveled to America in the 1960s. He decided to stay after meeting and marrying his wife, Gertrude. Anthony and Gertrude had twin daughters, and Anthony worked as a structural engineer for the Port Authority of NY and NJ until retiring to upstate New York in the 1990s.

Anthony Hood is survived by his daughters, Irene and Leslie, and his sisters, Elizabeth, Monica, Mary, and Pamela, along with numerous nieces and nephews abroad. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude.

Arrangements are entrusted to Keyser Funeral and Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, October 18, 2023, at Sacred Heart Church in Palenville, NY.
