Anthony 'Tony' C. DeMicco of Pine Street, West Hurley died at Benedictine Hospital on Friday, September 8, 2006 after a long illness. He was 76.
Tony was born August 9, 1930, in Ulster Landing and attended schools in the area. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, and attained the rank of Corporal. He married Barbara Basch on November 10, 1956.
He was a driver for the Arrow Carrier in New Jersey and worked in construction under Union Local 445. Most recently he was a salesman at DeMicco Motors, Kingston until his retirement.
A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1386, the American Legion, Post 1748, he belonged to the Teamsters Local 445.
Surviving in addition to his wife Barbara Basch DeMicco of 50 years are one son Michael J. DeMicco and his wife Debra Bresnan of Glenford; two sisters Carmel Wolf of Kingston and Josephine Clark of Arizona; and many neices and nephews.
Three brothers; Roy, Angelo and Dominick; and two sisters Mary Perry and Ann Bickel died previously.
Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. A candlelight remembrance will be conducted at 8:15 Monday evening.
